Duties and responsibilities:
Dietetic technician assist dietitians
in evaluating, organizing, and conducting nutation service and programs for school,
hospitals and industry.
They:
v Gather and
evaluate diet histories
v Assistant in
planning patients meals
v Provide nutritional
counseling
v Conduct food
preparations
v Over food
preparation and service
v Maintain
records
Average salary: $16,000-$30,000
Educational Requirements:
Students wanting to because dietetic
technicians should graduate from high school with a well-rounded program. High school business course may provide helpful.
Dietetic technician must complete a
two-year Associate’s Degree program that is accepted by the Americans Dietetic
association. They must then pass a Commission on dietetic Registration examination
