Epidemiologist study the frequently and distribution of diseases within human population and environments. Specifically, they measure the incidence of a disease occurrence and relate it to different characteristics of populations and environments.  Epidemiologist performs research, education and public health practice in universe, government agencies international organizations, and Private Corporation.  Epidemiologists often                   
·        Work on developing or refining methods of measuring and evaluation disease occupations
·        Develop and recombination public health policy
·        Study or research chronic diseases, infectious diseases, diseases out breaks, injuries, occupation, and environments
Average salary: $30,000-$50,000Educational requirements:Students should take the most challenging high school courses (including AP or IB courses) available in science, math, and English.Epidemiologists have, as a minimum, master’s degrees in public health. Undergraduate requirements for admissions into public health graduate programs vary by schools but usually include strong backgrounds in biology, chemistry, mathematics, and or statistics.

Environmental Health Specialist

Duties and Responsibilities:

Sanitarians, or environmental health specialist, enforce government regulations and advice and educate clients. They also improve water and sanitation facilities and are involved in improving the quality of community environments. They often:

·         Collect and analyze samples.

·         Screen samples for possible health hazards

·         Design or manage sanitation disposal,  and water systems

·         Oversee disposal of infectious wastes

·         Develop and manage prevention and educational programs

·         Evaluate and identify health hazards and ensure compliance with regulations

                                                       

Average salary:  $25,000-$50,000

Educational Requirements   Students should take college preparatory courses, especially in mathematics and, science, during high school.

A career a sanitarian or environmental health specialist requires a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in environment health or environmental engineering. Many jobs require certification and/or a master’s degree in these or related fields.

Emergency Medical Technician

Duties and Responsibilities:

Emergency medical technicians, or EMTs, usually work in the teams of two in specially designed ambulances. They provide immediate life or limb saving medical treatment at the scenes of accident and injuries as well as transport casualties to hospital emergency rooms for further care. The job is both physically demanding and stressful. Emergency medical technician often responds to:

ª      Automobile accidents

ª      Hart attacks

ª      Gunshot Wounding

ª      Unscheduled childbirth

ª      Drowning

ª      Other serious medical emergencies

Average salary: $25,000-$37,500

  Students must have a high school diploma (in some areas GED certificates may be substituted) in order to become an emergency medical technician. Driver’s education recommended in some training programs.

Basic emergency medical technician training includes about 100-120 hours spent in the classroom and 10 hours in a hospital emergency room. Emergency medical technicians are required to pass state licensing or certificated test and participate in continuing education programs. Many emergency medical technicians earn associate degrees in their field.
